Week 9

 Hello Blog!

    We are back for Week 9 of my Internship! This week I did not do much, so I do not have much to talk about. I have begun writing the formal and final parts of my project. I am using all the information and work I have done so far, and finally putting everything together. Monday, I had the day off and used this opportunity to catch up on my school work. During that day, I reviewed notes I had previously taken that would help me with my actual final project. So not much was done that day in regard to my internship work. 

    On Wednesday (today), I finally began to write out my lesson plan. It took some research to see how to format things which took some time. I completed a rough draft for one of my activities that I will send to my supervisor for feedback. Next week, I will revise and edit it, then begin working on my next ones. So for today, the only thing I did was draw up a rough draft. Despite having all my work, I need to put it together, and it definitely is a little harder than I originally thought. I am excited to continue my work though!

    Overall, it was a very chill and slow week! I did not do much, but I am getting closer and closer to having a completed final project. I am very excited to see how it will all turn out!

Week 2 Post!

 Hello!!!!      This was my first week at the office! It was a really cool but slightly overwhelming experience. I went over what I would be specifically working on and got to see the history center. Monday, my first day, I met the team and shadowed a field trip. Afterwards, I gave feedback and talked with my supervisor on what project she wants me to work on. I think I would a great for it and I am excited to jump right in! Today (Wednesday the 15th), I went over the CPALMS standards in more depth and reviewed current history education programs (K-5) and the civics programs (6-8 and 9-12). I also got my Orange County ID badge!      Overall, this week was very chill. I am enjoying what I am doing and I cannot wait to get started on my project. Week 1 Introductory Assignment

 Good Afternoon Reader! My name is Sabrina Aran and I am a current sophomore here at UCF. I am currently taking Legal Studies, History, and Political Science courses at the university. On Monday, I will begin my History Education Internship and I am very excited. I hope to learn more about history education and making lesson plans. Week 6

 Good Afternoon!     Hello Blog! I am writing this on a beautiful Thursday Afternoon, and I have finished my internship work for the week. Not much happened this week, and it was slow compared to others, but it did get some work done. Monday I got sent home early as I was feeling quite sick, so I did not do much that day. I did finish up one of my rough drafts before leaving though. I also made sure to share to my work with my supervisor so the next time I came in there would feedback that I could work off of.      Wednesday, I left early, but I did begin working more in depth with the feedback I was given. Out the 8 or so rough drafts I had been working on, I want to work on maybe 2 or 3 in more depth. I began working on my first one and writing out the specifics and reorganizing everything.
