Week 14

 Hello Everyone!

We are back for Week 14 of my internship at the Orange County Regional History Center. This week was very chill, and I don't really have much to speak of, and it was very similar to the previous week. I can't believe that next week is my last week and I only have two more days! The time has passed so quickly, and I am so close to completing my project it's so crazy to see how far I have come. This week, I worked more on those reading packets for the lesson plans, and used the feedback I got to develop them further.

Monday, I started going a lot more in depth with the reading packets. For example, with a reading packet on the Supreme Court, I went more in depth with what the Supreme Court is, the structure of it, and the cases I thought were most important. I also added more cases to that section, as I only had 3 previously, and am now up tp about 6-7. I also finished up my Independent Regulatory Agency packet and revised it once I got feedback for it. I completed my revision on the Supreme Court Packet and completed about 90% of my revision for the IRA packet. I left the rest of the IRA work for Wednesday. So Monday was pretty busy for me.

Wednesday, mu supervisor was not in the office, but I wanted to go in anyways to finish up my reading packet. I did not stay for long, and I came a lot later than usual due to car problems and I was stuck on the side of the highway for a little bit. When I finally got to the office, I quickly completed my reading packet and then headed out. Next week, I will be meeting with my supervisor to talk about my final two days in the office.

Overall, this has been an awesome and amazing experience, and I am sad that it is almost over. The work has been really fun and rewarding, and I am excited that it almost complete. I really have come a long way, and the project has been a work in progress. It is exciting to see how it's going to turn out, and I feel so much pride in how everything has come along. I am so grateful for this work.

Until Next Time,

Sabrina.
